THE "CATTY"
CORNER
He meets the
cats at Heaven's door
And bids them
enter, rich or poor.
He welcomes
them with arms spread wide
Then bends
close to them, once inside.
And says to
them, "It's Heaven's law:
You do not
hiss, show teeth or claw.
For mice and
bird, 'tis Heaven too.
You don't
give chance, you don't say 'boo!'"
Most cats
regard Him long and well
and say "I'd
rather go __"
Ah, well!
