I woke up this morning and found a massive comment spam run had hit OSXHAX. I may not post many entries here, but that doesn't mean I'll put up with being a billboard for any jackass to spam.
So now everyone must suffer. I've added a CAPTCHA plugin for comments. You must prove you're a human being. Thus, the spammers have forced me to exclude people who can't see very well from posting comments without help. Sorry. If you can't get past the captcha, and you're not a spamming bastard, e-mail me and I'll post for you.
Posted by nsayer at July 12, 2004 08:21 AMSorry to ask a stupid question, but I am desperate. How do you post a question to OS X Hax? I need to ask a question that only a group of expert hackers can answer. Just in case this gets posted, here's the question: I need to hack some Mac web browser (I don't care which one) so that when I log into a certain web site the site thinks I am using either IE 5.5 or IE 6 on Windows. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 1
Then you will have several options to switch your browser identity under the User Agent submenu.
